I am hoping that Carrier can find his scoring touch and provide some good power forward play. 4th line will be tough to make a significant difference, but gotta start somewhere.
Now we need for Ennis and Girgs to start lighting the lamp rather than these near misses...Sabres need more scoreboard from them.

thx...it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out once the injured return...about the only things we know is that o'reilly and Okposo are a good forward pairing and that the lars/gio/moose line will stick together, probably in a third line role

Agreed, I don't mind MattyMo up top either as it affords Ennis and Girgs to stay together on 2nd...we need more production out of that line.
Lastly, it is fun to watch the youngins to see where they might fit on the team next year...I.e as Gionta's replacement...kinda why I'm hoping for good things from Carrier.

Ive yet to understand the organizations obsession with him. I mean at his best he looks like hed be an above average 3rd liner, which is fine but teams keep asking about him and we keep saying no. I dont get either

Other than Nylander and Guhle, I'm not too confident we have any potential gems left in our system. Bailey seems career AHL start, just an extra body at the NHL level. I think it's too early to give up, but if someone wanted him bad enough and the offer was a young defenseman he'd be gone.
